Whether you’re new to our school or a longtime Cedar Bluff Middle School family, we want to provide the resources you need to achieve success.

Enrollment

Cedar Bluff Middle School serves students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.

Students who are zoned for Cedar Bluff Middle and attended a Knox County elementary school for 5th grade are automatically enrolled. 

Enrollment hours for students who are new to the district are from 8:00 a.m. until 3 p.m. on full school days and during specified office hours in the summer months. Enrollment must be completed in person by a parent or legal guardian.

Daily Schedule

Cedar Bluff Middle School’s school day begins at 8:30 a.m. Students arriving after this time are considered tardy and must check in at the front office. Dismissal begins at 3:30 p.m.

The entire staff of Cedar Bluff Middle School is committed to establishing an atmosphere in which children will feel safe, secure, and happy so they maximize their opportunities to learn and achieve. The school has trained counselors and a social worker on staff.

Athletics, Arts, and Clubs

Cedar Bluff Middle School offers a variety of after-school and extracurricular activities—including athletics, clubs, and performing arts—that give students the chance to build new skills, connect with peers, and explore personal interests.

Different from high school, middle school athletics includes both school-sponsored teams and community-based programs.

Library / Media Center

From the time the doors open, students are discovering new books, authors, databases, and technology to meet their academic and recreational reading needs. 

The library is a place for exploration and wonder.  Be sure to stop by. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and are always eager to assist you in locating appropriate resources.

Support Organization

Cedar Bluff Middle School is supported by an active Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) that partners with administrators, teachers, staff, and families to enrich the school experience. The PTSA works to strengthen academic and extracurricular programs, provide resources that benefit students and staff, and promote community engagement. Through collaboration and advocacy, the PTSA helps create a positive, supportive environment where all students can succeed.
