PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

I started my teaching career at Cecil B. Rigsby Elementary in Bledsoe County, TN, where I had a fifth grade homeroom, but also taught sixth through eighth grades.  After moving to Knoxville nineteen years ago, I began teaching seventh grade at Doyle Middle School.  When we merged with South, I taught sixth grade language arts and reading at SDMS.  In 2000, Itransferred to Bearden Middle School where I taught sixth grade reading and then had a related arts reading lab, teaching grades 6-8.  Six years ago I was hired as assistant principal at Farragut Middle.  I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to serve as principal of Cedar Bluff Middle, and I look forward to working with all of the members of the CBMS
